Accommodation

Please be aware that as we draw closer to the FD Worlds Sydney 2015, that accommodation prices will rise, particularly from 29/30 Dec – 2 January, as it does in Europe. We suggest you BOOK NOW to ensure you have somewhere to stay and at an affordable rate.

During this period, we suggest that if you cannot find affordable accommodation near the club that you may need to look further afield and then change lodgings once racing commences.

If you are further afield, here is how to walk to the club:

FROM TRAIN STATION – Milsons Point is the nearest train station

This National Park is in the suburbs of the North Shore – a 16 minute walk, followed by a 25minute train ride from North Ryde Station to Milsons Point Station

Cockatoo Island

This island is very popular for camping including for Sydneysiders – a former shipyard that is now converted to accommodation with historical tours.   It is the western side of the harbour bridge it is very popular on NYE and is booked out on the 31st – but has available dates after this.   Unfortunately it is not possible to get a direct ferry from Cockatoo Island to Milsons Point Ferry stop, it is necessary to change ferries or transfer to train
